1. Program Description

Casa Lumen offers online Montessori-inspired tutoring and enrichment sessions for children ages 5–8. Sessions are conducted via secure video conferencing platforms and are designed to support individual learning needs in a nurturing virtual environment.

2. Enrollment & Payment

  • Enrollment is confirmed once full payment has been received.

  • Payments are non-refundable unless Casa Lumen cancels a session.

  • Missed sessions will not be credited unless prior arrangements have been made.

  • A 24-hour notice is required for rescheduling when possible.

3. Technology & Access

  • Families are responsible for ensuring a reliable internet connection and access to a device with camera and microphone capabilities.

  • Parents/guardians are expected to supervise technology use and help their child log in to sessions on time.

4. Conduct & Expectations

  • Children should be dressed appropriately, ready to learn, and in a quiet space with minimal distractions.

  • Casa Lumen reserves the right to end a session early or remove a child from programming if behavior is consistently disruptive or unsafe.

5. Privacy & Recording

  • Sessions may not be recorded or shared by families without prior written consent from Casa Lumen.

  • Casa Lumen will not record sessions unless explicitly stated and agreed upon.

  • We respect your privacy and comply with applicable data protection laws.

6. Materials & Supplies

  • Families may be provided a list of suggested materials or digital printables before sessions.

  • It is the family's responsibility to ensure materials are ready and accessible before each session.

7. Cancellations & Program Changes

  • Casa Lumen reserves the right to reschedule or modify programming when necessary (e.g., illness, low enrollment).

  • Families will be notified in advance and offered a makeup session or refund when applicable.

8. Limitation of Liability

Casa Lumen and its instructors are not liable for technical issues, accidents, or injuries that occur during online sessions due to equipment or home environment.

9. Agreement

By enrolling in Casa Lumen’s virtual program, you acknowledge that you have read and agree to these Terms of Service.
