Hello! My name is Alice El-Jamal. At Casa Lumen Montessori, I believe every child carries a light within them—a unique spark of curiosity, creativity, and potential. Our name, Casa Lumen, means “House of Light,” reflecting our commitment to nurturing children in an environment full of warmth, joy, and purpose.

My Learning Path

I am a Montessori Guide with a Master’s Degree in Early Childhood Education and over 20 years of experience, including both in-person and virtual classrooms. I created Casa Lumen to bring the magic of Montessori into a modern, connected world. I’ve always loved learning and I’m excited to support your child.

Yes, that’s me at 5—curious, wide-eyed, and full of questions. My journey began here, when I made myself teacher of my younger cousin and it continues today with every child I teach.

I am committed to guiding children ages 5–9 through hands-on, heart-centered learning. Grounded in Montessori principles and inspired by the unique light of every child, I prepare learners for life.
